Public Release of Phase 1 and Application Development
Hello, this is Haruta Watanabe.
While I usually develop mobile apps and websites, I have now completed the 51st week of my studies with a view towards a career as a software engineer and data scientist. This week was a productive one, marked by the public release of Phase 1 of my research and the migration of the PWA to a separate domain for the system I provide to my student club.
Week 51 Reflection
This week, continuing from last week, I proceeded with my studies along the following two axes:
- Public Release of Bot Detection and Rejection In preparation for the Phase 2 implementation, I publicly released Phase 1 to actually measure the accuracy of bot detection and rejection on the internet. Going forward, I will improve the accuracy based on the measurement results.
- Engineering During the development of a service provided for my student club, I migrated the PWA to a separate domain. The purpose was to make it possible to switch accounts between the Web version and the PWA version. To avoid session inconsistencies caused by a session expiring on one side, I decided to provide the PWA on a separate domain.
Week 52 Goals
In week 52, I will continue to focus on solidifying the foundational knowledge that is crucial for my research.
- Interview Preparation I will prepare for interviews for my job hunting. In particular, I will prepare so that I can handle questions in the field of software engineering.
- Phase 2 Research I will research the second phase of my study and refine my ideas.
Going Forward
I will continue to post a summary of my previous week’s reflection and my goals for the current week every Monday.
Thank you for your continued support.
