Research on Bot Detection and Rejection Towards the Final Goal

Hello, this is Haruta Watanabe.

While I usually develop mobile apps and websites, I have now completed the 49th week of my studies with a view towards a career as a software engineer and data scientist.

This week, I primarily focused on job hunting preparation and research activities. I also worked on technology selection for new product development at my part-time job, making it a very intensive week.

Week 49 Reflection

This week, continuing from last week, I proceeded with my studies along the following two axes:

  • Bot Detection and Rejection I studied areas related to what I have implemented and reviewed academic papers towards my final goal.
  • Engineering (Design) I worked on requirements definition and technology selection for a new application at my part-time job. Through this, I aim to build an efficient and scalable system going forward.

Week 50 Goals

In week 50, I will continue to focus on solidifying the foundational knowledge that is crucial for my research.

  • Deepening Understanding of Academic Papers I will deepen my understanding of papers related to bot detection and rejection, as well as prior research papers related to my final goal, to improve the accuracy of my research.
  • Publishing Phase 1 I will publish the first phase of my research, which I could not publish last week due to various circumstances, and conduct measurements in a production environment.

Going Forward

I will continue to post a summary of my previous week’s reflection and my goals for the current week every Monday.

Thank you for your continued support.
