First Engineering Internship Challenge
Hello, this is Haruta Watanabe.
First, I apologize for the delay in this post.
While I usually develop mobile apps and websites, I have now completed the 23rd week of my studies with a view towards a career as a software engineer and data scientist. This week was highly practical, as I put the results of my learning so far to the test in the field.
Week 23 Reflection
This week, I participated in my first-ever engineering internship.
It was a hackathon-style internship that required not just solving technical challenges but also taking a business perspective. However, it was incredibly fun, and I was able to work on it with a sense of fulfillment. I gained valuable experience directly linked to practical business by proceeding with development while being conscious of both technical skills and business perspectives.
Week 24 Goals
In week 24, drawing on the practical experience from the internship, I will once again retrain the core aspects of my technical skills.
- Serious Focus on Algorithm Studies To cultivate more advanced implementation skills and efficient problem-solving abilities, I will put serious effort into learning algorithms, further solidifying my foundational skills as an engineer.
Going Forward
I will continue to post a summary of my previous week’s reflection and my goals for the current week every Monday.
Thank you for your continued support.
